ABOUT THE PROJECT






This project is established to increase students’ learning motivation by using the technological competencies of children born in the digital century in the field of education, , to integrate Web 2 tools into our lessons with the developing technology unlike the classical education understanding,. to increase the skills of finding, understanding, analyzing, producing and sharing information through network devices such as smart phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers and to increase their digital literacy levels.

 AIMS

  • Providing students with 21st century skills
  • Gaining digital identity by increasing the digital literacy level of students
  • Making Generation Z aware of its technology skills
  • Ensuring that students use technology effectively and efficiently
  • Improving the language skills of students and teachers
  • Gaining the ability of finding, understanding, analyzing, producing and sharing information
  • Raising awareness of esafety
  • Supporting effective communication of students  by developing cooperation, selfcontrol, self-efficacy and self-confidence

WORK PROCESS

                     December: Creating of project teams

                                        Student, teacher and school presentation using Web 2 tools

                                        Logo works using Web 2 tools

                                        New Year Cards using Web 2 tools

                     January     : Poster works using Web 2 tools.

                                        Definition of digital identity and digital literacy

                                        Preparing e-books about e-safety using Web 2 tools (storyjumper)

                    February    : Solving steps of an existing problem

                                        Accessing and sharing information using Web 2 tools

                                        Designing digital games (wordwall, cram, etc.)


EXPECTED RESULTS

  • Safe and effective usage of information tools by students,
  • Finding effective solutions to problems,
  • Development of digital literacy skills,
  • Expressing themselves correctly with the work done and develop their selfconfidence,
  • Development of  working in cooperation skills,
  • Development of Computer and English communication and language skills
